Organ design for the danish house of music.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the House of Music (Musikken Hus) in Denmark, a milestone that fills me with both pride and nostalgia. Reflecting back on my time at Coop Himmelb(l)au, I'm reminded of the incredible opportunity I had to contribute to designing the organ within this iconic space back in 2011.
Leveraging Rhino and Python scripting, we embarked on a journey to create something truly unique. The culmination of our efforts resulted in an organ that stands as a testament to innovation and craftsmanship, featuring 5,450 pipes meticulously crafted by Marcussen & Søn.
The journey from concept to reality . First, a glimpse into the 3D model that started it all, a snapshot from the rigorous design process powered by advanced computational design techniques. Following, a photo of the final build, capturing the essence of our vision brought to life, courtesy of marcussen-son.dk.
This project stands out in my career not only for its scale and complexity but for the seamless integration of computational design into the fabric of architectural marvels. It's a reminder of the power of collaboration, technology, and creative ambition in pushing the boundaries of what's possible in architecture and design.
As I continue to explore and contribute to the field of design and architecture, I carry with me the lessons learned and the experiences gained from projects like these. Here's to more innovation, collaboration, and design excellence in the years to come!
